Entries for the 2011 Robert Watson Literary Prizes are now being accepted through September 15, 2010. Fiction submissions must not exceed 25 typed pages, double-spaced, and up to ten pages of poetry of any number of poems will be considered. Simultaneous submissions are accepted; however, entries must be previously unpublished.
All manuscripts that meet the contest guidelines will be considered for cash awards and publication in The Greensboro Review. Winning entries will appear in the Spring 2011 issue.
The Greensboro Review is published twice annually in the spring and fall by the MFA Writing Program at the University of North Carolina. The contest, formerly The Greensboro Review Literary Awards, was renamed in 2006 to honor poet and novelist Robert Watson. Watson served as one of the first faculty advisors when the journal was started in 1969.

Thanks, I’ll pass this on to my college-graduate son who is a poety.
